Chapter 12.
Sooory for the late post. I don't know why I'm posting up things so late; I have a lot of free time now... Okay here is chapter 12.

-------------------------------------------Chapter 12.--------------------------------------------------

*Katie's POV*
I backed away from the kiss, and I was completely surprised. Alice kissed me. And what surprised me even more was that I kissed her back. I was so speechless at that moment. I quickly grabbed all my stuff and got out of the car. I didn't even bother saying bye. I slowly walked up my driveway as Alice sped away. I looked down at the ground and walked until I encountered feet. Very familiar feet. And there stood Eliot.
"What the hell was that?" he demanded.

"What are you talking about?" I asked. Had Eliot just saw what happened?

"Don't play dumb, Katie. Did you just kiss Alice?"

"N-n-no," I stuttered. "She kissed me."

"But you kissed her back! I saw you!" he said rather loudly.

"I couldn't help it," I said quietly.

He took a step closer to me, and I thought he was gonna slap me across my face. But instead, he took me in his arms.
"Katie... if you like girls, then why didn't you just tell me? I would've understood," he said. I admired him for being so nice and gentle with me at that moment.

"Wait, you're not mad at me?" I asked.

"Of course I'm mad, I mean you just cheated on me with another girl. But I didn't know you were interested in girls and guys."

"I'm not, I only like guys. I don't even know why I kissed Alice. I didn't mean to. And now I really regret it, because Alice probably thinks I like her, in that way."

"Well maybe you can just tell her it was a mistake," he suggested. I shrugged.

"But Eliot, I really need to talk to you."

"Yeah me too, but you go first," he said. I sighed.

"Alright. So we can't be together anymore." While I said this, I couldn't look into his eyes. It was too hard.

"That's funny. I came over here to tell you the same thing," he said.

"Oh, so you understand right?" I asked.

"Yes, I completely understand. And I think it's a good idea to just take a break from each other." he replied.

"Eliot, we aren't taking a break from each other. We are ending our relationship. Not taking a break."

"Right."

"Alright then," I said awkwardly.

"Well I guess I'll just see you around then," he said. I nodded. But I kind of disagreed. I just didn't want to tell him. He wouldn't see me around, because I was going to try and avoid him. It was just better that way.

*Alice's POV*
I was driving home, and all I could think about was Katie. I touched my lips, and they STILL felt tingly. Had that kiss really happened? I licked my lips and the taste of Katie's cherry chapstick was still there. Everything that happened was real. I parked on my driveway and noticed Gavin's car on the side of the street.

I walked into the house and tried to act normal. Right when I walked in, my mom and dad were hurrying out of the house.
"Where are you guys going?" I asked.

"Your father just remembered he was invited to this cocktail party. Your friend's in the back. Money for dinner is on the kitchen counter. Be safe honey. I love you," my mother said rapidly. She kissed me on my cheek, and they both left. I rolled my eyes, closed the door, put my bag down, and walked to the back. It was only March, and Gavin was already swimming.

I checked out his abs, and he was in pretty good shape.
"Lookin' good!" I yelled. He stopped abruptly, looked in my direction, and flashed me that smile I always loved. I loved that feeling of just being young and in love.

Gavin jumped out of the pool and walked over to me. He gave me a wet hug and I squealed.
"How was your day with Katie?" he asked me. I stopped breathing and eyed him suspiciously.

"What do you mean?" I asked. He gave me a funny look.

"Did you have fun?" he asked. Oh thank god, I thought he found out I kissed her.

"Yeah, it was fun," I said. I tried to make it sound as casual as I could even though my heart was pounding a thousand miles per hour.

"Great," he said while smiling at me again.

"You all right? You seem kind of edgy right now," he said.

"I'm fine," I said while smiling back at him. To really convince him that I was fine, I gave him a kiss. This kiss didn't really feel natural, and honestly I didn't like it. I felt like it was too forced, and dirty in a way. It was like there wasn't any passion in it. Really different from the kiss Katie and I shared. That's when Gavin bit my lip.
"Ouch!" I said while touching my lip.

"What?" he asked.

"You.. bit me."

"Yeah, so? I always bite your lip..."

"Well don't do it anymore. I don't like it," I said. I didn't mean for it to sound too harsh though.

"Alright, fine. I'm sorry for hurting you," he said while rolling his eyes. I rolled my eyes back at him.

He went upstairs to my bedroom and I followed him.
"I need to take a shower. Do you mind if I use your bathroom?" he asked sweetly. Then I was no longer mad at him.

"Go ahead," I said.

He was just about to walk into my bathroom when he paused.
"Wanna join me?" he asked flirtatiously.

"Of course not, now go!" I said while laughing. He laughed too and closed the bathroom door.

The fact that I kissed Katie was eating away my insides. I had to tell somebody, but I just couldn't trust anybody. Maybe I should tell Gavin. He would understand right? I fought with myself and finally decided to tell him right when he came out of the bathroom.

Chapter 11.
I can post chapters more quickly now. >:D Okay I have a song stuck in my head and I'm thinking about so many things so this chapter may not make sense but that's okay okay here goes chapter 11!

----------------------------------------------Chapter 11.------------------------------------------------

*Alice's POV*

I met Katie up at the Chipotle. Today, we decided to hang out together. I spotted her sitting outside on the bench, and I jogged over to her.
"Alice!" she said.

"Hey Katie," I said. We gave each other a quick hug and went inside. We ordered our food and then went to sit down. We talked a little and then I finally broke the news to her.
"So... Gavin and I are back together..." I said.

"Oh my gosh Alice! That's great!" she exclaimed. I actually thought she was gonna be angry with me. I mean, she's been telling me all along that I should get a new guy... I smiled at her. Then I told her how Gavin and I started seeing each other again. Then she told me about her and Eliot.
"So, I'm going to Juilliard," she said sadly. I was confused.

"That's great, Katie!"

"No, it's not. That means I'll be leaving Eliot..." Then I understood.

"Well, if you really love Eliot, then you guys can work this out. Right?" I said.

"I guess..." she said and sighed.

"But Katie, I'm gonna be realistic with you. And please don't be offended by what I'm saying but this is just my opinion and you don't have to agree with me. But, I think you and Eliot should break up," I said. Wow, that was a mouthful. She sat there and I could tell she was thinking it all through.

"You know what Alice?" she said. For a minute, I thought she was going to confront me. I held my breath and was ready for what she was gonna say.

"You're right," she said. I was completely caught off guard.

"You think so?" I asked.

"Yes, it makes sense. I mean, if I'm being realistic. Eliot and I won't see each other. He could be cheating on me for all I know! I mean, he is attractive...."

"Damn right!" I exclaimed a little too loudly. She gave me a quiet laugh.

"But when should I break up with him?" she asked.

"The sooner the better. If you break up with him today, you'll have like, a whole half of a school year to get over him," I explained. She nodded.

"You're such a genius, Alice! But this is gonna be hard for me to do..."

"Katie, if you really love him, you would do what's best for both of you. Do it now, so you won't regret it in the long run."

She nodded.
"Thanks, Alice.''

"No problem."

*Gavin's POV*
Eliot and I stopped by a Subway to eat lunch. I told him how Alice and I started seeing each other again. Surprisingly, he wasn't angry with me for going back to her. Then Eliot told me about him and Katie.
"So, Katie is going to Juilliard..." he said.

"What?"

"Yeah..."

"Wait, but you're going to that college in California!" I said.

"Exactly."

"Aw man, what are you gonna do?" I asked.

"Well, we decided that we can work this out," he said confidently. I snorted.

"Yeah right, Eliot. Uh, hello? Come back to the real world. Long distance relationships are hard. I'm not saying they're impossible, they're just really really hard," I explained.

"Not really. We can webcam, talk on the phone, we can text. And during our breaks, I can fly to go see her. It all works out," he said.

"I hate to say this Eliot, but uh, how do you know if she's cheating on you..? I mean, she is pretty hot so guys would most likely hit on her."

He sat there quietly.
"So you're saying that I should break up with her.." he said. It wasn't much of a question.

"It's the best thing to do for both of you," I said.

"You're right."

*Alice's POV*
After we finished eating, we dropped Katie's car off at her house and took one car to the movies. We finished watching the movie and shopped at the mall, and then it was time for me to drop Katie off in front of her house. She sat there for a few seconds.
"Thanks Alice," she said while smiling at me.

"No problem, it was just a movie," I said. It was really no bid deal.

"No, I meant about the advice. I think it's a really mature, good idea."

"Oh, you're welcome," I said.

"So, have you and Gavin encountered any problems with colleges yet?" she asked curiously.

"Nope! Maybe we can just apply at the same college," I said.

"That's good. I wish Eliot and I would've thought of that," she said while looking up at the ceiling of my car. I nodded and looked over at her. She was still looking at the ceiling.

In all honesty, I completely envied Katie. Just minus the boyfriend problem. She was beautiful with her long eyelashes; her round, big, brown eyes; her straight, white teeth; her natural beach wave hair; and her flawless skin. I even envied her life. She got to have the life of a teenager. She got to be young and in love while I was at home worrying over grades and dance. I envied her opportunity to go to Juilliard.

I kept staring at her, but not in the creepy way. Then she looked over at me and laughed.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" she asked.

"Because you're perfect," I said quietly. We stared at each other for what seemed like forever but was only for a few seconds. Then I couldn't control myself any longer. I did what I've been wanting to do for a long time. I was no longer afraid. I finally needed to show her how I really felt about her. My adrenaline was pulsing through my veins.

I leaned forward and kissed her.

And that is how I want to end that chapter! Tell me what you think. :D

Chapter 1O.
Here is chapter ten! And this story might seem really boring right now cause there isn't much conflict and there doesn't seem to be a theme or plot of any sort yet, but I promise you, it will get better!

------------------------------------------------Chapter 1O.--------------------------------------------------

*Eliot's POV*
I woke up the next morning and immediately checked my phone to see if I got any texts from Katie. There was one. She texted me at 11:46.
"Do you think you can come over tomorrow morning? :)"

But by 11:45, I was already sleeping so I didn't have a chance to answer her. I didn't bother texting her, because she was probably still sleeping. It was 8 o'clock. So instead, I walked over to my music stand and sat down in my chair. Peeking out of my music binder was my acceptance letter to California Institute of the Arts. I smiled at that and then I picked up my bow and tightened it. Then I picked up my cello and placed it between my knees. I began to warm up with a C scale. I still needed to perfect the Cello Suite piece but I just couldn't push my tempo anymore. I practiced more and more and I was so close! But I just couldn't make it. I looked over at the clock and it was already 9 o'clock! Where did the time go?!

I loosened my bow and placed my cello down. I took a quick shower and sprayed on some of Katie's favorite cologne. I ran my fingers through my hair to make sure I looked presentable and threw a polo on with some khakis. I slipped on my Polo shoes and headed out.

I arrived at Katie's house and there were two cars in the driveway, meaning Katie and her mom were home. I went up to the front door and rang the doorbell. In a few seconds Katie's mom opened it.
"Hey Ms. Kelly," I said.

"Hey Eliot, come on in."

I walked inside.
"Would you like any coffee or breakfast?" she offered.

"No thank you," I said.

"So is Katie upstairs?" I asked.

"Oh yeah, she might just be watching TV or something. But I'm really sorry it had to end this way for you guys," she said sympathetically.

"What had to end this way?" I asked. I was confused.

"She hasn't told you?"

"Told me what?" I asked getting more and more confused.

"Never mind. Just let her tell you for herself," she said while giving me a tight smile. I nodded and walked upstairs to Katie's room. I shook my head, what was going on?

I arrived at Katie's door and knocked. Nothing happened, so I just entered. Turns out Katie was STILL sleeping. I kicked off my shoes and climbed into bed right next to her. She was laying on her side and she was facing me. I put my arm around her waist and pulled her closer to me. Her skin was pretty cold though, so I pulled the blanket towards her more. I kissed her forehead, and rested her head upon my chest. This moment was so perfect, but I hope whatever she had to tell me wasn't going to ruin this.

About 15 minutes later, her eyes flickered open.
"Eliot? When'd you get here?" she asked while letting out a huge yawn.

"About 20 minutes ago," I said. She smiled at me, and I smiled back. She got out of bed and walked to her bathroom. I looked at the pants she was wearing as she walked there then I followed her.

"Are those my Spongebob pants?" I asked while squinting to examine them.

"No..." she said quietly while picking up her toothbrush.

"Yes they are! I've been looking all over the place for them!" I exclaimed. Katie giggled and snorted.

"Well you left them at my house that one time, so I just thought you didn't want them anymore."

"How could I give up Spongebob pants? I mean, c'mon!" I said. She laughed some more and then started to brush her teeth. I leaned against the wall and watched her. The way she brushed her teeth was actually very clean. She focused on every single tooth at every single angle possible. No wonder she had such pretty teeth. She even made sure that there wasn't any water that escaped the sink onto the ground. Then FINALLY, she finished.

She walked over to me and wrapped her arms around my neck, and I wrapped my arms around her waist. She began to slowly kiss the bottom of my neck, and made her way up. I felt her hot breath trailing up the side of my neck, but then I remembered she had to tell me something.
"Uh K-k-katie?" I stuttered. She pulled away and looked at me with those big brown eyes of hers.

"Why did you want me to come here this morning?" I began.

"Just to hang out," she said. At that moment, I could tell she was lying.

"But when I came in your house, your mom told me you had to tell me something..." I said. She sighed quietly. Then she walked over to her bed and sat down on the edge. I sat down next to her.

"This isn't gonna be easy to say. But the easiest way I can say this is.... I'm going to Juilliard," she said. I looked at her but she didn't look too happy.

"That's great Katie!" I exclaimed while giving her a hug. The thing is, she didn't hug me back.

"No Eliot, you don't understand... I'm going to Juilliard.... You're not..."

That's when everything made sense. Katie's mom was sorry because Katie and I would have to split. Katie wanted me to come over to tell me this, not to hang out. I didn't know what to say now. I tried to swallow my tears and started to blink really fast so tears wouldn't fall.
"Well, we can work this out. Right?" I suggested.

"But how? My campus is all the way in New York, and yours is across the country in California," she said. I could tell she was about to cry too.

"It will work out, we can call each other, we can video chat and set up dates through that. Katie, I will do anything just to keep us together, anything. I love you too much to let you go, and I'm not going to let college tear us apart," I told her while holding her head between my hands. She nodded and threw her arms around me. I hugged her back.

99% of my heart told me that this long distance thing WILL work out, but there's still that tiny 1% that tells me this won't work out...

I told Katie not to worry about anything. We still had half of a school year to worry about. She agreed, and I left the house. She said she needed some girl time and was gonna hang out with Alice. I thought it was a good day. So I decided to hang with Gavin.

I drove to his house to pick him up. He got into the car.
"Good news," he said with a huge smile.

"What?" I asked.

"Alice and I are back together," he said smiling even wider.

Oh great! Here we go again.

Chapter O9.
SUMMER IS HERE. Okay here goes chapter nine!

-------------------------------------------Chapter O9.--------------------------------------------------------------

*Katie's POV*
I opened my eyes and saw that Eliot was standing over me. Turns out that I was watching TV and whatever I was watching was so funny that I fell off of my treadmill and passed out. I didn't bother exercising anymore, so I left and went home. I walked inside the house and my mom instantly attacked me into a hug.
"Mom? Everything okay...?"

She pulled away and I saw that she was smiling so widely, I thought her face was gonna crack.
"Honey, go put on some nicer clothes. We're gonna go out to eat tonight!" she exclaimed. I looked at her like she was some crazy lunatic. So she attacked me into a hug, just to tell me we're going out to eat? Sure.

I jogged upstairs and took a quick shower. I discovered there was a huge bruise on my inner thigh. I slipped on this black and peach, lace dress and some TOMS cause my feet were killing me. I walked back downstairs, and my mother was STILL smiling at me.

We left and she took me to this fancy steakhouse. As I walked in, I felt like I was going to throw up. So much meat everywhere! I bit my tongue to hold up my throw up. My mother and I sat down at our tables and our waiter handed us our menus. But the waiter was kind of cute.... I looked around the restaurant and then in the corner of the restaurant I spotted Alice! She was sitting with her family, I assumed.

I waved my arms around and tried to get my attention. I probably looked like an idiot. Eventually, I caught her attention and she spit her lemonade out. She giggled and I laughed. I waved at her and she waved back. Then I concentrated on what I was going to eat. I was probably just gonna eat a chicken salad. Everything else seemed to make me sick. The waiter came and I asked him a question.
"Umm, what does the raspberry dressing taste like?" I asked. He licked his lips and then I smiled.

"Well, it tastes like raspberries, obviously. But it's rather sweet. And it's a dark color, but not quite as dark as purple."

The way he described that was so fun to listen to. And the fact that he has a British accent made him all the more attractive. Then I snapped out of my daydream.
"Uh, I'll just have Italian dressing please," I said while handing him back my menu. He smiled and took it from me, and then took the menu from my mom.
"So Katie, hitting on the waiter huh?" she said while sipping her margarita.

"What Mom? No, I have a boyfriend," I said while laughing nervously.

"Uh huh, I saw the way you were batting your eyelashes at the waiter. I know if my daughter is flirting when I see it," she said while smirking at me. I rolled my eyes and laughed. Then I excused myself and walked to the bathroom. I really didn't need to pee. I was just gonna check my hair.

I turned on the sink and in walked Alice.
"Hey!" she said, flashing me that million dollar smile. Her teeth were so straight and white.

"Hey!" I said back. She walked over to the sinks and fixed her hair too.

"Uh oh," I said. The string of my dress became untied but my arms were too short to re tie it.

"Alice? Can you tie this for me?" She nodded and walked over to me.

She stood rather close to me. Actually, I think she was a little too close... I could feel her breath on my neck. I shivered and prayed that she didn't notice. She took her time tying the knot and then delicately fixed the straps on my dress to hide my bra.
"Cute bra," she added while stepping away. I didn't realize it, but I was holding my breath when she was fixing my dress.

"What size are you?" she asked me.

"Well this dress is a size 2," I said. Then she laughed.

"I didn't mean your dress, I meant your bra!" Why am I so stupid?

"Oh,Well I'm a 32 C," I said nervously.

"Lucky you, I'm only a 32 B. I wish I had average sized boobs like yours... mine are just too small," Alice said. I looked at her breasts from where I was standing.

"Yours are fine, they are small but they're the cute kind of small," I said. Surprisingly, this conversation wasn't at all awkward. Alice looked at my breasts one last time.

"But still, guys aren't into small boobs," she said. I shrugged not knowing whether or not to agree or disagree with her.

"Well I better get back to this lousy dinner with my parents. I hate them so much, they annoy the crap outta me," she complained while looking at herself in the mirror.

Then I remembered I had something in my purse.
"Here, take these. I'm sure they'll make all your worries go away for the rest of the night," I said quietly while handing her a pill from my purse. She hesitated.

"Go on, take it. It's not like you're gonna die," I joked. She gave me an evilish grin and took it. She swallowed, thanked me, gave me a hug, and left the bathroom. I left that moment too.

I returned to the table and the food was already there. That meant the waiter left already. I sat down and dug in. My mom and I didn't talk at all though. Eventually, we finished.
"So, you're not gonna ask me why we're eating out tonight?" my mom said out of nowhere.

"No, I mean we eat out almost every night..."

"Oh, right. Well I got this in the mail," she said while reaching into her purse and pulling out a letter. She placed it in between us. I looked at her and then picked up the letter. The letter was addressed to me, but it came from Juilliard, the school of dance, drama, and music. I gasped and I could've passed out right at that moment. My heart skipped a beat. Maybe the rejected my application and my video! Or maybe they accepted it....

I turned it over to look at it and found it was already opened.
"I was curious," my mother said innocently. I quickly pulled out my letter. BLAH BLAH BLAH.

You have been accepted to the Juilliard School of dance, drama, and music.

I gasped once more and looked over at my mom. Tears were streaming down her face and she was smiling. I smiled like I've never smiled before and read the letter over and over again to make sure this was real.
"Katie, I am so proud of you! I knew you could make it! I just knew it!" she said.

I immediately thought about my life in college and all the people I was gonna meet and how competitive everyone was gonna be but then I though of Eliot. Then everything seemed to crash down. Eliot wasn't going to Juilliard. But I was.

Chapter O8.
Okay so I'm sooo sorry for not posting a chapter in so long. But I will be posting them up more often now that school is ending. And sorry for the odd looking cover. I'm really too lazy to make it look any better lol.

---------------------------------------------------Chapter O8.-------------------------------------------------

*Eliot's POV*
I looked at the clock while finishing the last sub. Only 2 minutes until work was over! I finally got a job and that job was at Subway. Katie and I have been going out for 6 months by the way. That means that Gavin and Alice haven't been speaking each other for that long. Just keep that in mind. The clock struck 3 and my customer paid for his sandwhich. I quickly took of my gloves, threw them away, took of my apron, put it on the hook, collected my pay check, and stormed out.

I was so anxious to see Katie! I pulled out my phone and dialed her number. One ring....two rings.... three rings.....
"Hey Eliot!" I heard her say. My insides practically melted.

"Hey Katie! I just got out of work," I said.

"Great! How was it?"

"Actually pretty good. No one pissed me off and I got some of that peach tea you like for free!" I said. She laughed.

"Oh thanks! But um, I don't think we can hang right now. I already promised Alice that I would go shopping with her," she said with sympathy. I sighed.

"Well that's alright. Go ahead and hang with Alice, you hang with me too much anyways," I said jokingly. She laughed again.

"How about you hang with Gavin? You haven't talked to him in a long time," she suggested.

"Yeah I guess, well go ahead and have fun. See you later! Bye."

"Bye babe!"

Then I hung up. I got into my car, and I lit a cigarette. I put the peach tea in the cup holder. I guess I couldn't give this to Katie then. So I drove off to Gavin's house.

*Katie's POV*
Alice dropped me off at my house. We had just finished shopping and I've got to say, Alice can shop! We spent at least 4 hours at the mall. I bought a bunch of clothes that I never though I would wear. I dumped out everything I bought onto my bed and organized them into my closet and drawers. After doing that, I was a little tired so I lied down in my bed.

My eyes were just about to close when my phone rang. I groaned and looked at the screen. Gavin was calling me....
"Gavin?"

"Hey Katie!"

"Hey..." It was weird, because Gavin and I usually didn't talk unless it was about Alice which was so long ago!

"What's up?"

"I was just about to take a nap."

"Oh I'm sorry! I hope I'm not bothering you," he said.

"No it's fine," I said while stifling a yawn.

"So, Eliot told me you and Alice went to the mall together.." he said slowly.

"Gavin! You've got to get over her! I hate to say this, but she's moved on," I said. I heard him sigh from the other end.

"I don't know why I just can't get over her. It's been so long, and yet, I STILL think about her," he said desperately.

"How about this, you get ready and I'll come pick you up so we can go girl hunting?"

"Oh fine..."

"Great! I'll be over in 10! But don't tell Eliot."

Then we hung up. I guess I wasn't gonna take a nap. Well at least I was helping out a friend! I slipped on my oxfords and walked out to my car and drove to Gavin's house. He was standing outside and he was leaning against his closed garage. Then he got into my car and we drove to the mall. The place where pretty much every attractive girl was at this time.

We arrived and I fixed his hair for him and then entered the mall.
"So how have you and Eliot been?" he asked.

"Didn't you see Eliot today?"

"Yeah, but I want to know what you think about him," he said.

"Oh, well I think he's perfect. He makes me happy, and he supports me so much. I could go on and on about him, but I'm sure you'll get bored." He laughed.

We started to walk and I watched as Gavin looked at the other girls as they walked pass him. The weird thing was, was that they weren't looking at Gavin, they were looking at me.... But Gavin was attractive! That's when it struck me. I facepalmed myself.
"Why am I so stupid?" I said aloud.

"What?"

"Girls aren't looking at you, because they think I'm your girlfriend!" I explained.

"Ohhh..."

"Well, I guess you're on your own, bud!" I said while leaving him.

"Katie!!!" I heard him exclaim. "But I need your help!"

"Gavin! No you don't!"

"Yes I do, I've forgotten how to talk to a girl." I sighed.

"Just win their heart, like how you won Alice's. It's simple, Gavin. Just be yourself," I said. He nodded and then I left him.

An hour later we bumped into eachother. He was wearing a huge smile on his face. I laughed.
"Let me guess, you've found a girl." I said. He laughed and hugged me while sweeping me off my feet.
"Thank you Katie!!!!!!!" he exclaimed and then put me down.

"For what? I didn't even help you," I said while giggling.

We walked out to the car and in the car ride to his house, he told me all about the new girl he met. Her name was Linda and apparently she was a real 'hottie'. I dropped him off, and then decided to drive to Eliot's house. I could really use his treadmill. Luckily, I was wearing my sports bra, t-shirt, and gym shorts already.

I rang his doorbell and luckily, Eliot answered. I could tell he was working out too due to the fact that 1. he was shirtless. 2. I could hear his work out playlist blasting from his basement and 3. I could see that his forehead was covered in sweat.
"Hey Katie!" he said while pulling me into a hug. He gave me a wet, slobbery kiss and I laughed. He continuously kissed me. Kind of like he was pecking my lips. I laughed between each kiss and gently pushed him away.

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

"Just stopped by to use your treadmill," I said.

"Ohh, so you didn't stop by to see me?" he said while winking. I laughed.

"That too."

We walked down to the basement and he lowered down his music. While Eliot worked out, he liked to listen to some real hardcore metal. I actually liked it too. I took off my oxfords and replaced them with my sneakers. I always left a pair of my sneakers at his house just in case. I was there at his house a lot too. It was like I lived there sometimes. I started to stretch.

Then I looked over at Eliot. He was doing push-ups. I listened to his soft murmuring and realized he was counting.
"52...53....54....55...56," he kept counting and was panting too. Pretty impressive.
I took off my t-shirt so that I was only wearing my sports bra and shorts and got onto the treadmill. I started out with a slow job and after each minute, I picked up my pace.

While I was running, Eliot turned on the TV to keep my entertained. He put it on Nick so I was watching Spongebob Squarepants. This episode was the one when they had to deliver the Krusty Krab pizza and the part I was watching was when Spongebob was singing that song. I started laughing pretty loudly.

Then I snorted which made me laugh harder. Eliot heard my snorting in my laughter and started to continuously imitate me. That made me laugh even harder. The next few things happened in a blur. I closed my eyes and laughed, I lost my balance, I slipped, I fell backwards, and then I blacked out.

Chapter O7.
Happy Easter! Sorry for the wait. Here goes chapter 7! :]

-----------------------------------------------Chapter O7.------------------------------------------------------------------

*Alice's POV*
I walked downstairs and there was a plate of pancakes and eggs waiting for me for breakfast. I sat down and dug in. Then my mother came over and sat in front of me. She sipped her cup of coffee.
"Good morning, Alice," she said. My mother was a serious lady and so was my father. They weren't the type to joke around with. They wouldn't even let me go to parties. Whenever I did want to go to a party, I had to make up a lame excuse like "practicing in the gymnasium".

"Good morning, Mother," I replied.

"So, have you filled out any of your college applications yet?"

"No ma'am...."

"Have you considered what colleges you're going to..?" she asked, obviously growing impatient.

"No ma'am..."

"Alice, do you plan to even graduate this year?"

"Well of course, Mother! I plan on going to Julliard...." I said quietly. I was afraid she wouldn't approve of my choice.

"Are you aware that you have to audition for that college? And are you aware that we can't afford that?"

"Yes, but I'll try hard. I really will," I promised.

"Oh really, because this came in the mail yesterday," she said while sliding an envelope towards my way. My heart was beating faster now. Holy crap. I totally forgot about the midterm grades.... I quickly grabbed the envelope and opened it. Low B...High B, High C, Low C, High D, Low C, High D.... Shit.

"Explain yourself," my mother said.

"It's the beginning of the school year and I just feel overwhelmed with everything. All this homework and practicing. Especially with a recital coming up, I've been really worried."

"Alice, are you still dating that boy, Gavin?"

I nodded my head yes.

"I suggest you leave him and concentrate on your studies if you want to go to Juilliard," she threatened.

"But I love him.." I whispered out.

"Love? You love him? Alice! How can you possibly say that! You're only 17! You're too young to feel love! I bet you don't even know what that means," she said as if I was some idiot.

"You don't know what love is either," I said.

"Excuse me?"

"You and dad, that's not love. I don't even know what that is, but you don't love him. If it's anyone that knows nothing about love, it's you," I spat out at her.

Then my Mother slapped me straight across my cheek. She slapped me so hard I fell out of my seat. While doing so, I spilled all my food and orange juice onto the floor with my hands. I held my cheek and felt where she had just slapped me. It stung. I sat on the floor, surprised and angry all at once. She hasn't hit me in so long. My mother stood up.
"I suggest you break up with Gavin, and focus at your studies at once!" she demanded while walking away to her room.

"And clean up the mess you made!" she yelled behind her back.

*Gavin's POV*
I was in the middle of working out when the doorbell rang. I quickly threw on my shirt and went to go get it. I opened the door and found Alice standing there. I smiled at her, but she didn't smile back.
"What's wrong?" I asked, immediately sensing something was wrong.

"Gavin, this isn't easy to say but please just listen to me. I can no longer be with you and I am sorry for this," she said. Then she walked back to her car. I jogged over to her car window, and I was really confused.

"Can we at least discuss this? I mean, you wanting to leave me is kind of random, don't you think?"

"There's nothing to discuss. I'm breaking up with you and that's that," she said as if it were no big deal. But deep in her eyes, I could see the pain she was suffering as she said these words. Then it hit me. Her mom. Her mom has forced her to break up with me before, but it just didn't work. We loved each other too much.

"Is you're mom making you do this? Because we can fix that," I pleaded. Alice bit her lip.

"Part of this is my decision, Gavin. I think it's better if we just stay away from each other for a while."

"Well how long is a while, Alice? I thought that we agreed that your mom would never come between us again.." I said. A tear slipped from the corner of my eye. She wanted to break up with me?

"Look Gavin, I need to focus on school work and our relationship is just getting in the way of things," she said. She was crying now too.

"Well we can work around. I'll help you. I can help you with your chemistry and help you with your essays..." I begged. Alice didn't say a word but instead put her car in gear and drove off. I would've run after her, but I was too weak. This time, I didn't think she was gonna change her mind.

*Katie's POV*
I pulled Eliot onto the couch and he propped up on his arm so that he was on top of me but didn't put all of his weight onto me. He began to kiss me up and down my jawbone. I giggled and he pressed his lips to mine. I could feel him smiling through the kiss. The only thing that could've ruined that perfect moment was my phone vibrating, which is exactly what it did. Eliot sighed and slowly sat up so I could take this call. I smiled apologetically at him then answered my phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey, it's Gavin," he said.

"Oh hey, what's up?" I asked through the phone. Eliot crawled over to me and began to kiss me again.

"Nothing, but do you know what's wrong with Alice?" he asked me. I was laughing a little bit because while Eliot and I were kissing he started to tickle me. Then I remembered I was on the phone with Gavin still.

"Umm.. No. Why?" I asked while giggling.

"She broke up with me.." Gavin said quietly.

"What?!" I exclaimed while pushing Eliot off of me.

"Yeah, that was my reaction. She said that she needed to concentrate on her studies or something like that but I think her mom forced her to break up with me. Or maybe she's found another guy.... Please tell me there's no other guy in her life," Gavin said while saying all this really fast.

"No, there's no other guy. She really loved you, Gavin. I don't understand why she broke up with you..."

Gavin and I continued to talk and I just told him to leave her alone for a little bit because she just really needed some time to think. I could tell he didn't like my solution but he agreed to give her some space anyways. Then we hung up. I explained everything to Eliot and I could see the sympathy on his face.

He was just about to kiss me again until my mom interrupted us.
"I'm home!!!!" she yelled. I quickly jumped off the couch and led Eliot to go meet her.

"Hey mom... this is Eliot," I said. She looked at Eliot and her eyes searched up and down his body doing a mental checklist to see if he was a 'good boy'.

"Hi I'm Katie's mother," she said while smiling at him and shaking his hand. SCORE! I could tell that she liked him already.

"Nice to meet you," Eliot said. I just loved it when Eliot was polite to other people. It made him all the more attractive.

"So you're Katie's boyfriend?"

"Yes," Eliot said nervously. I laughed inside.

"Katie! You didn't tell mommy you liked boys!" my mother said. Can you say awkward? I was so embarrassed!

That was chapter 7! I hope you liked it. :D If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. :]

Summer of 2O11. ♥
I am really looking forward to Summer so I decided to make a set about it. I'm really bored too; that's the other reason. Okay so each picture represents something and I shall type about it! c: It actually took me a while to make because I wanted each picture to have the same size. So it's harder then it looks.

Row 1-
Picture 1: I want to go camping with my friends. We imagined camping and one of my friends wants to make black bean empanadas and play Scrabble all night. >:D We could camp in her backyard!

Picture 2: I want to wear flannels a lot in the summer. I don't know why. Even though they are long sleeved, I could wear them with a skirt or some shorts.

Picture 3: I want to go to a river with my friends, but I am afraid of the snakes. o.o

Row 2-
Picture 1: I put the Statue of Liberty there, because in the summer; my dad is sending me to New York! And Washington D.C. I'm either going alone or with my sister but all my cousins and aunts will be there. But it's possible I could ride the plane alone. O.o Hopefully not! But I'm super excited for that.

Picture 2: I want to wear more stylish clothes, ya know?

Picture 3: I want to try to paint my nails with cool designs. Even though I hate nail polish.

Row 3-
Picture 1: I WON'T SLEEP AT ALL. CUZ SLEEP IS FOR THE WEEK. I won't sleep on the weekends, but during the week I will. See what I did there? ;D

Picture 2: I will try to memorize as many lyrics to as many songs as I can! And I want to try to listen to more of the older bands, because their music is better then the music nowadays. Am I right? Like Guns N' Roses, they are so good. :')

Picture 3: I want to go to as many parks as possible with my friends and takes lots of pictures to fill up my bulletin board. >:D But the really pretty park with a lake is under construction....

Row 4-
Picture 1: I would like to wear dresses more often, because I like them and it makes my Mother happy when I wear dresses.

Picture 2: I will keep a summer book to keep all my secrets and dreams and stuff I want to write about. And I can decorate it with bunches of stuff and memories.

Picture 3: I want to go to the bookstore, because I know what book that quote is from. It's in this book FULL of secrets and one time, my friend, Bibian, and I sat in the bookstore and read a lot of secrets people sent. Some were funny and pointless and some were real sad.

I want to feel free.

I want to drink more tea and read.

So what are you doing in the summer time? I would love to know so you can leave a comment down below saying what you're doing or... you can make a set about it and leave a link! I promise you, I will check it out! :]

OMG DKFDKFGHDBSKHVB. I loove this book. I finished it in 2 days gah I love it so much. The book is over and now I'm all sad. I hated the ending in my opinion, I thought more should've happened. And I thought she should've hooked up with the gerbil killer since Dash hooked up with his ex. But omg it was amazing. Btw, Dash is so perfect. D; BUT THIS. THIS BOOK KLSDGKLSDGF. Okay that is my little rant. But the idea of the moleskin notebook is so genius. I want to try it one day but it'd be more fun to do it in New York lol.

Chapter O6.
So I am currently eating lightly salted rice cakes and I am listening to the first movement of Beethoven's 7th symphony and the beginning is so intense but then it gets happy and frilly lol. Then intense. Okay now here is chapter six! I hope you like it!

-----------------------------------------------Chapter O6.--------------------------------------------------------------

*Katie's POV*
I woke up and went downstairs. I only slept for about 6 hours but I wasn't even tired! Which was weird. Sitting at the kitchen table was my mother and some dude. I stopped in my tracks.
"Good morning Katie! Happy Birthday!!" she exclaimed while getting up to give me a hug. I hugged her back.

"Katie, this is Cody. He was a nice gentleman and helped me around town this morning," she said with a huge smile. I waved and smiled at him.

"Nice to meet you Katie," he said while smiling back. He didn't look to bad. He didn't look creepy. I might actually like him. I noticed him wearing a fresh suit. So he didn't stay the night...

"Come over here Katie," my mother said while leading me towards the living room. The living room was so bright with all the sunshine pouring in that I had to squint to adjust.

My mother held out a pink bag with tissue paper. It was my birthday present. I smiled at her. Then I opened it. Inside was the Coach purse I wanted, a nice bracelet from Tiffany's, and a MacBook Air. I shrieked. I loooved my presents. I tackled my mom into a hug.
"Thankyouthankthankyouthankyou!!!!!!!" I said into her shoulder. She patted me on the back and laughed.

Ever since my dad was in jail, my mom has been spoiling me but never to this extreme! I put all my stuff back into the bag and walked back up to my room. I was too happy to even eat breakfast. I immediately called Eliot; I really wanted to hang with him today.
"Hello?" he said. I could tell he just woke up.

"Wakey wakey! We've got a whole day ahead of us and there's no need to waste it!" I exclaimed. I heard him laugh on the other end. We agreed that I should go over to his house for some reason. Then we hung up.

I went to shower and then get ready. I decided to wear this new dress I got along with some flats. Cute but comfortable. I grabbed my purse, told Cody and my mother goodbye, then drove off to Eliot's house. I went through the backyard and knocked a special rhythm on his door. He opened his door a crack and slowly, a smile spread across his face.

He opened his door wider and that's when I realized he wasn't wearing a shirt. He was tan and muscular and there were beads of water on his chest. His hair was messed up and ruffled and looked damp. The only thing he was wearing was a towel. I snapped out of my little daydream.
"Is this a bad time?" I asked while giggling.

"Nah, come on in."

I went over and sat on his bed while he stayed in the bathroom and got ready. After 7 minutes, he finally came out and we were all set to go! We didn't know exactly what to do so we went to the frozen yogurt shop. (The same one from last night.) We arrived there and coincidentally, Gavin and Alice were there.
"Oh my gosh, look!" yelled Alice while pointing to us.

Eliot and I grabbed our frozen yogurt and went to go sit with them.
"So what brings you guys out of your cubicles?" Gavin asked us.

"Well actually, today is Katie's birthday!" Eliot said while wrapping his arm around me.

"Katie!! We have to go shopping!" Alice exclaimed. She seemed super excited.

"Well I do have my mom's credit card...."

"Well then why are we still sitting here? Let's go!" Alice said. Gavin and Eliot groaned.

We all walked to the nearby mall and split up. Eliot and Gavin were walking together while Alice and I were sticking together. We were just about to walk apart when I decided to kiss Eliot. I quickly got on my tippy toes and kissed him on the cheek. Then I ran off with Alice and looked back. He was looking back at me while smiling at me, I smiled back.

After an hour of shopping so far, I was actually tired. I was carrying about 4 bags. We both decided to get smoothies. I waited in line and looked around me. Where was Eliot and Gavin?
"Someone's interested in you," Alice whispered to me. I looked at her confused and she pointed to a guy ordering pizza at the pizza line. Sure enough, he was looking right at me and he was smiling. He winked at me too. I blushed then quickly looked away.

"Do you know him?" I asked her.

"Who doesn't? He goes to the same school as us. He's in this totally metal band, lead singer, he's so hot but he's really sketchy and dangerous. That mysterious boy," she said while smirking. We ordered our smoothies. I looked back at the pizza line, but he was gone.

We continued shopping, and after going into about every store there was; we decided we were done. Finally! Alice dialed Gavin's phone number and they were at the video game store, of course. We went there and that's when I saw Sketchy Boy in there too. Except he was talking to Eliot. I walked over to them and laced my fingers through Eliot's. I wanted to show Sketchy Boy that I was off-limits and that he should think twice before hitting on me.
"Thomas, this is Katie. Katie this is Thomas," Eliot said.

"Oh hey, it's smoothie girl," he said while raising his eyebrows at me. I rolled my eyes.

"You guys know each other?" Eliot asked. I shook my head no and then let them finish talking. Finally, Thomas left.

"You were acting kind of weird around him. Do you not like him?" Eliot asked me.

"I don't know, Alice told me that he's sketchy and dangerous so yeah," I replied.

"Katie, don't be like that. You barely even know him and you're making all of these assumptions?"

"Sorry," I apologized and then we left the mall. Eliot and I went back to his house while Alice and Gavin went home. Gavin was getting some CD's in the upstairs of the actual house while I was down in the kitchen making myself a bowl of cereal.

*Eliot's POV*
I grabbed an old shoebox and filled it up with all my favorite CD's from the music room. I was gonna let Katie listen to them since we just happened to like the same music. I was just about to grab the Nirvana CD when I heard something crash and break from downstairs. I dropped the box and quickly got down there.

I ran to the kitchen and saw Katie kneeling on the ground while trying to scoop up broken glass pieces very rapidly. She noticed I was standing there and I saw the tears in her eyes.
"Please don't hit me," she whispered. My mouth fell open and I walked over to her. She flinched as I reached over to her and tried to give her a hug.

"Oh Katie, I would never ever hit you," I said while hugging her. I could hear her weeping silently and I felt the tears dripping onto my shirt. I picked her up and carried her over to the couch.
"It's okay Katie, it's just a place. We have tons of other ones. Don't be scared, please," I whispered. I kissed her forehead tenderly and held her as she continued to cry.

That was chapter 6! Tell me what you think~
